Our goal is to promote the bicycle as economically and efficiently as possible. We hope to accommodate comfort riders, touring buffs, BMX bros, fixie fanatics and anybody else who loves the familiar feeling of pushing pedals.

Summer of ’08. We had probably just gotten back from Lowes with a Tot Tote trailer full of paint.
After signing the lease in August 2008 , owners, Suzanne Critchlow and Brett Eastman worked to renovate the empty space at 2709 East Marshall in Historic Church Hill. The 100 year-old structure had been unused for some time, and was in need of major renovations as well as cosmetic upgrades. With the help of local craftsman and friends of Cyclus, Critchlow and Eastman renovated the building. By November 8th, Cyclus Bicycle Shop had it’s soft opening.
They also received financial assistance through the C.A.R.E. Program through the City of Richmond’s Department of Economic Development. The C.A.R.E. program (Community Area Revitilization Effort) provides rebates and loans to qualifying new businesses in area’s designated for much needed rehabilitation.
We would like to thank, Bob the builder, Bk Lee, Richmond Recycles, Scott@ Kinetic Electric, Ricky Welds a lot, Baby Stephen, Bri Y, Nurse Carrie, Rob-o, Tot Tote trailer, Poquoson Mike and the Department of Economic Development’s C.A.R.E. program.

Heather,
Sorry for the delay in our response, it’s been quite busy over here. To the best of our knowledge these trailers are no longer produced. They pop up occasionally on craigslist.com. Definitley my favorite trailer to date, at the time we were borrowing it from a friend and have since given it back. I now use a modified burley brand flatbed that works quite well.
